Systemaire has chalked up another milestone with 25 years of operation, Tony Fego began the company in October 1987 with partners Terry Gallagher and Norm Steketee. Focusing on fans, filters and other air conditioning products, they introduced a diverse range of local and overseas products to a varied client base that included HVAC contractors, industrial manufacturers/processors, the marine, mining, oil and gas industries, and wholesalers.

A close relationship was forged with Fantech from the start. Systemaire began selling Fantech products in Western Australia in January 1988, and in July 2007 the business was acquired by the Fantech group.

"With Fantech’s support and the introduction of Fantech systems, the business has continued to grow year on year," State Manager Andrew Twisse said.

"One of the things that set us apart is that we are a solution provider, not a box seller. Most of our 17 staff come from a project background and this experience is a great asset when discussing ideas with consultants at the beginning of a project."

This attention to detail has earned the company an enviable reputation for customer service. Systemaire are currently involved in the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the state, the $2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital. With state-of-the-art technology into every level of the hospital and 150,000sqm of floor space over five main buildings, it will provide a total of 783 beds to the public. The Project is due to be complete in April 2014.
