Many Fantech fans feature integrated speed control, and will be selected automatically at the speed required to match your required duty. All other fans will be selected based on their full speed, but if they are compatible with a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or speed controller, you can request the program to select them as if using that speed controller to get the required duty exactly.

In the Advanced tab of the Select Fan window, tick the Select using available Speed Controller option near the Control type options box. When you look at the performance of the fan, the speed slider will automatically have been adjusted to meet your required duty – just remember to allow for the VSD or speed controller in your schedule!
